Thursday Oct 26th, more than thousand people gathered in Vancouver city hall to Denounce Mayor Ken Sim for his unequivocal continued support for genocide by the apartheid regime of Israel in Palestine.
He had earlier condemned the protests calling out Israel for the continued genocide of Palestinians in a systematic manner.
The statement of Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim read, “When informed of these rallies, I spoke with the VPD and am encouraged they will investigate and address any incidents of hate. As people gather today, I hope they will overcome hatred and show the basic humanity required to condemn outright and obvious acts of evil."
